Recovering Texas debutante Alyson Weaver Nicholas grew up believing impressive duck hunting skills and evening gowns were the key to upward mobility. Now, she writes and does stand-up comedy about people coming to terms with reality. These days reality includes shedding tears of joy every time her one-year-old son poops inside his diaper.
Alyson’s comedy has been featured at Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, and over thirty national venues. She is an Oakie award recipient, a Hugo Shong/IDG Fellow, and a proficient rapper when served enough rosé. Alyson holds an MFA from USC’s John Wells School of Writing for Screen and Television.
