The Long Year Town

When approached by a perhaps eccentric (perhaps completely ignorant) billionaire, a jaded climate scientist risks his comfortable life to join an 11th hour experimental research team. He journeys to Longyearbyen, Svalbard, an isolated town deep in the arctic circle, equally famous for environmental breakthroughs as it is for rampant alcoholism, depression and casual swinging. This will be a very long year.
